Today we released a new book by Glenn Fleishman: Take Control of Find My and AirTags! This book started as a long chapter in Glenn’s Take Control of iOS & iPadOS Privacy and Security, but as he was revising that book—new edition due out soon!—he realized it was just getting way too long, while he had much more to say about Find My. So he split that topic off into its own book, which then grew to 107 pages! Anything you want to know about tracking your stuff (or people—with their consent, obviously!) using Find My, AirTags, and compatible third-party products can be found in Glenn’s new book.
I have a stack of manuscripts for updated books waiting to be edited, and we will see at least one of those next week. You may have heard that iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 are shipping next week, along with new iPhones and iPads, and as is our custom, Josh Centers is updating Take Control of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 to cover what has changed since version 1.0 of that book. Plenty more updates are also in the works, and I’ll tell you about them as they become available.
