It’s always great to release a big new edition of a popular book, and this week, it was especially great to be able to fulfill a promise we’ve been making for many months—the long-awaited second edition of Rosemary Orchard’s Take Control of Shortcuts. This huge new update now covers iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS 12 Monterey. (And, we’re already committing to another update, later this year, to cover iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS 13 Ventura; that will be free for all owners of the second edition.) Apart from that, a bunch of Take Control authors, including me, are hard at work on new or updated titles for release in August and beyond, including (of course) Take Control of Ventura and Take Control of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16. I can’t commit to a specific release date yet, but we’re typing as fast as we can.
