This week we released version 3.1 of my book Take Control of the Mac Command Line with Terminal, bringing it up to date with Big Sur and M1 Macs. We also released small updates to Glenn Fleishman’s Take Control of Securing Your Mac and Take Control of Home Security Cameras.
I am toiling away at the next (big) new edition of Take Control of Backing Up Your Mac, and I have many other titles in the queue for after that. A couple of other authors are working on new things too, and I will as always tell you about them once they’re soup.
We have seen some faint glimmers of hope with regard to the pandemic and our kids’ schooling, but not enough to make us excessively optimistic. Other than that, life and work continue to be far more difficult and frustrating than we’d like, and we press on.
